mathildas market, 19 June, brisbane

I can't believe it but this Saturday we are back showcasing our wares at Mathilda's Market. This is a fabulous niche market that offers unique, stylish and affordable baby & kids goods that are lovingly handmade or manufactured. The retailers are handpicked to ensure an exciting product range. It's a kid's shopping heaven. Better yet, most of the retailers do not have a shop front, so you know you'll find something special, not available anywhere else.

Pop by and see our stand at Mathilda’s Market from 9am to 1pm at the Brisbane Racecourse at Eagle Farm, Ascot. Entry and parking is free. With over 70 retailers, yummy food and kids’ entertainment - Mathilda’s Market is one of Brisbane’s best shopping destinations for the little ones.

We will be having a massive sale on all remaining stock to make way for our new organic ranges. There will be discounts on everything. All our sheets, pillows, toys, knitwear and prints must be sold. Don't miss a bargain!

I look forward to seeing you there.

magnolia square, st kilda melbourne

Just as I think I'm getting over last weekends Baby Show its off to Melbourne I go again this week for Magnolia Square at St Kilda.

Magnolia Square will commence Thursday through to Saturday with some gorgeous retailers all under the one roof. You certainly won't find these retailers in your local shops so why not make a day of it, pack up the kids and brave the weather - gosh I hope its not like last weekend, very unpleasant to say the least.

Thought I would share with you some photos of my stand at The Baby Show. First one is how it started and yes, you guessed it I decided to change it around half way through the show - I just can't help myself!

Now before you start emailing me, the gorgeous bunting and lanterns can be found at Details Details - all bunting is custom made so the sky is the limit.

Have a wonderful weekend.

magnolia square markets

Well I'm back after having a fantastic time at the Magnolia Square Markets in Sydney.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by and saying "hi" - particularly those who braved the heat on Friday...my goodness it was hot!

An enormous thank you to Mandy from Belle and Boo for being such an amazing sport on Saturday, answering questions, signing prints, handing out postcards - you were a gem!

Here's some pics of my stand - I can't sit still and I think I changed it around 4 or 5 times, my "neighbours" started to think I was crazy!

Anyway, I'll tell you all about all the wonderful retailers I found there in a few days - I'm off to arrange the birthday party for the kids.

i'm back and I have some exciting news

Seems like ages since I last blogged! This week I've managed to blow up my broadband connection, foxtel is on the blink (I love IQ, always great to catch up on all the trashy shows whilst handsewing) and having issues with the dishwasher(washing by hand hasn't been fun!). Oh course all the little "issues" seem to happen when you are in a mad panic to get things done.

One more sleep and I'm on a jet plane to Sydney for the Magnolia Square Markets. The markets start this Thursday from 2pm at Randwick Racecourse and will run for three days. There will be loads of wonderful retailers there (and me of course!) over 80 of them showcasing the very best in unique homewares, fashion, jewellery, children's clothing, art and edible treats - I couldn't think of a better place to start and finish your Christmas shopping! Saturday will be a lovely day to bring the kids with ballons, pony rides, facepainting and cupcake decorating classes. Cost is $8 (littles get in free) which includes a carpark and if your husbands are lucky enough to be coming - they get in free for their efforts!

Now if that wasn't enough to entice you to the markets, what about this? The amazingly talented Mandy Sutcliffe (yes the British illustrator behind Belle and Boo) will be stopping by my stand on Saturday (21 November) from 11am to sign prints, have a chat about her work and say hello. How excited am I. I have a wide selection of prints, soaps, gift tags and badges that will be available for sale from Thursday - so don't miss this fantastic opportunity - its not everyday we get a visit from a UK friend.

Hope to see everyone at the markets.
